Euro Atlantic Diplomacy Society
Euro Atlantic Diplomacy Society (EAD Society) emerged from a collective ambition to establish a think tank that goes beyond examining global and societal challenges to actively shaping impactful solutions. Understanding the need for a multidisciplinary and cross-sector approach, EAD Society was established to bridge the worlds of diplomacy, science, and policy, fostering synergies that drive innovation and systemic transformation.
Our Beginnings A Youth-Driven Vision
The origins of EAD Society date back to 2013, with its roots in a student-led initiative launched in 2012 at the Free University of Brussels. Recognising the importance of engaging young professionals in international policymaking, the founders set out to create a platform that would connect emerging leaders with senior decision-makers. Their mission was clear: to facilitate knowledge exchange, inspire policy innovation, and provide leadership development opportunities, ensuring that the next generation has the tools, networks, and expertise to shape international affairs.
Over time, EAD Society evolved into a dynamic think tank, committed to fostering dialogue and collaboration across diplomacy, academia, and policymaking. By engaging with policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and civil society, the organisation tackles complex European and global challenges, ensuring that solutions are scientifically grounded, policy-relevant, and action-oriented.
