Objective:

The Initiative for Peace was a tailored communication programme designed to raise awareness about the impact of fake news and encourage fact-checking to foster stronger, more resilient communities. The programme brought together key opinion leaders, video bloggers, and public figures to address three main objectives:

  • Educating their online audiences on identifying propaganda and disinformation;
  • Adapting to new technologies and emerging risks;
  • Reaching vulnerable populations in rural areas and urban peripheries.
